About

My journey in information technology began with a job as a tech support agent for a telecommunications company. I learned the basics of how phones connect to the network, understanding the internal antenna's role in cellphones and the technology transmitted through cellphone towers.

Over time, I excelled in my role and progressed to a leadership position. I started assisting fellow agents in resolving technical issues for customers, whether they stemmed from software downloaded onto phones, issues with the cellphone tower service, or user misconceptions about hacking.

To enhance our troubleshooting capabilities, I learned to use engineering tools that assessed the quality of our service, enabling us to provide customers with optimal solutions. I took the initiative to create presentations, sharing my knowledge of these tools with a broader audience of agents.

Throughout my career, I encountered numerous instances where customers believed they were hacked. Often, it was a result of a problematic app or a visited website causing disruptions in their cellphones. However, there were occasions when customers mistakenly called the wrong place or downloaded malicious apps, leading to bad actors stealing their sensitive information.

Witnessing cases where hackers wiped out customers' bank accounts, ranging from a few hundred to thousands of dollars, deeply impacted me. These experiences fueled my determination to pursue a career in cybersecurity. I aim to prevent these malicious actors from taking advantage of hardworking individuals and ensure a secure digital environment.
